One of the most valuable aspects of CPHI is the opportunity to speak directly with customers about the challenges they face, the priorities shaping their development programmes and the support they need to move forward. From formulation challenges to regulatory considerations and the demands of scaling up, these conversations reinforce the importance of understanding each customer's individual needs. Every pharmaceutical development journey presents its own complexities, and finding the right solution often requires more than the right ingredient alone. For us, these discussions are an important reminder of the value of collaboration. By combining our ingredients with application knowledge, technical expertise and a customer-focused approach, we can help customers explore solutions, address challenges and progress their development programmes with greater confidence. 

Demonstrating the expertise behind our portfolio 

Our portfolio remains central to what we offer, but CPHI provided an opportunity to demonstrate the wider expertise and support that sit behind it. From our Super Refined™ range and high-purity excipients to our capabilities across excipients, lipids and adjuvants, our conversations highlighted the importance of selecting the right materials for increasingly complex pharmaceutical applications. Beyond supplying ingredients, we work alongside customers to support their development needs through formulation insights, technical guidance and application expertise. Understanding how ingredients perform within a formulation, and how that performance can be maintained as a product progresses towards commercialisation, is an important part of helping customers navigate development challenges. Our demonstrations also provided an opportunity to bring some of this expertise to life, encouraging discussion and helping visitors explore our product range.
 

The people behind Croda Pharma 

CPHI was also a valuable opportunity to bring together colleagues from across our commercial, R&T and sustainability teams. Having expertise from different disciplines available throughout the event helped us demonstrate the breadth of knowledge within Croda Pharma and the collaborative approach we bring to customer relationships. It is this combination of people, products and technical understanding that helps us build meaningful partnerships. By working closely with customers, listening to their challenges and drawing on expertise across our business, we aim to make the development journey easier to navigate. Ultimately, being a trusted partner means being accessible, responsive and committed to understanding what matters most to our customers.

Looking beyond the event 

While CPHI provides an important opportunity to make new connections, the real value comes from what happens next. The conversations started in Milan provide a foundation for continued collaboration, follow-up discussions and exploring where Croda Pharma can bring value to customers' development programmes. They also give us valuable insight into the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical industry and how we can continue to strengthen the support we provide.
