Add to favourites

Crodamol CCC is a mixture of esters formed by the reaction of Caprylic and Capric fatty acids with saturated fatty alcohols. The material is slightly yellowish in colour, practically insoluble in water, and miscible with alcohol and liquid paraffin. It is a medium spreading ester for topical formulations.

Cocoyl caprylocaprate is used in topical formulations. It is a non-irritating liquid ideal for sensitive site applications. The excipient can contribute to many benefits for various topical systems such as mild emollience and appealing sensory properties. It also helps aid in dermal penetration of some APIs.
