Super Refined Olive is a water-white, odourless, neutral non-polar lipid with a low peroxide value that can be used topically as an emollient, lubricant and demulcent. It finds application in emulsions, ointments, liniments, ophthalmic and otic preparations and oral formulations. Its improved taste profile enables the formulation of more palatable oral liquid medicines.
Also available as a grade that contains no preservatives.
