Crodasol CCMG 400 is a multi-compendial mixture of caprylocaproyl macrogolglycerides, which are derived from glycerol monoesters, diesters, and triesters, and polyethylene glycol monoesters and diesters. This product is represented as a pale-yellow liquid that demonstrates amphiphilic characteristics and is primarily used in oral pharmaceutical applicaitons. Due to its amphiphilic nature, Crodasol CCMG 400 is ideal for use as a surfactant or co-solvent in self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDS), or self-microemulsifying drug delivery systems (SMEDDS). Crodasol CCMG 400 can help solubilise poorly water-soluble APIs, thereby enhancing their bioavailability.
