Super Refined Oleic Acid is a highly purified oleic acid suitable for use in topical, oral and nasal dose applications. It acts as a solubiliser, emulsifying agent and transdermal penetration enhancer and can be used in Self Emulsifying Drug Delivery Systems (SEDDS) to improve the bioavailability of poorly water soluble drugs.
The proprietary Super Refining process removes impurities without altering the chemical composition of the excipient. This reduces the potential for adverse interactions between the excipient and the API, enhancing active stability and efficacy.
